We don't normally give our girls "treats" for performing but they were being particularly stubborn this day so they needed a little chocolate encouragement. Natalie is the one standing up at the beginning and Tessa is sitting on the floor. Anyone jealous of all the hair they have? :) And it's curly. I'll admit, I'm a little jealous myself. We started teaching them sign language when there were about a year old to help them communicate better until they learned how to talk. It has served us well but now that they are learning new words, we're going to try and wean them from signing (since they refuse to say the word for anything that they know the sign for) so here's proof that they once new how....

As promised, a video of their now famous "crazy walk" and a sign language segment. Starring Miss Tessa-bug and Miss Nattie-pants!

A date with my hubby.....at last......
I know, I know, 3 posts in the past two days, some of you have probably fallen over from the shock but I just had an overwhelming need to blog in the past couple days. Your gain, right? Anyway, Jeremy and I haven't been on a date FOREVER!!! I mean, I do consider our trip to the temple on Saturday a date but you know what I mean. I'm talking about something that remotely resembled our pre-marriage/pre-children years. Ah, the good old days.....Just kidding. I love my kids but I love going out just the two of us also. We went to see "Push," a movie starring Dakota Fanning that almost nobody (including myself) has heard of. Jeremy wanted to see it so I went on blind faith. It was pretty decent but (spoiler alert?) they totally left it open for a sequel so there wasn't a real sense of closure to it. I'd probably see a sequel if it came out...
Anyway, after the movie we headed over to The Cheesecake Factory, one of our favorites, for lunch. Since pictures in front of a movie theater aren't all that exciting, here's a few from our delicious (but oh so not nutritious) lunch.
We ordered Buffalo Blasts as an appetizer and, if you are a buffalo wing fan but hate all the hassle of eating off the bone, these are the things for you. Yummy! It came with eight buffalo blasts but we only managed to get through 4 (two each) and then our meal came....

Thanks for the dresses, Grampa Hargis!
My dad and his girlfriend bought these cute dresses for the girls for Valentine's Day. Here's a picture of each of our goofs in their pretty dresses. Excuse the craziness of the hair as they had just been through 3 hours of church.
Natalie didn't want to smile for me but I told her if she smiled I'd give her an M&M and, well, here's my all-of-a-sudden-not-so-shy daughter. I love bribery.......
Miss Tessa did not need to be bribed but she did make a silly face. Beggars can't be choosers!

A Valentine's Day Treat....
We decided to invite our friend Alison's family over to decorate Valentine's Day sugar cookies. She and her kids (her husband had to work, unfortunately) came over on Friday night and we all had a great time. Apparantly, Tessa and Natalie LOVE sugar cookies. Niether Tessa nor Natalie wanted any frosting on their cookies which was ok by me (less mess). They don't like things that are too sweet, I guess. Here's Miss Tessa "helping" me decorate a cookie by sitting right in my line of sight. She's a sweetheart.

Last week, when the girls woke up, Jeremy went in to get them out of bed and get them dressed for the day. Natalie decided to give him a little head start on the getting "undressed" part...She had taken off her sleeper pajamas for him. I don't know when she learned out to use a zipper but what a smart little turkey! Please don't laugh at her bedhead. Their hair is out of control!
