As promised....

Here are the before and after shots of our new place. I tried to put them in order from room to room but it just got too confusing so this will have to do.... Here is the back patio looking out of our sliding glass door. The door on the left leads to our two car garage which we LOVE! It even came equipped with an automatic door opener and we can fit the minivan and my car in it, plus there is a ton of room for storage! You can't get better than that. Ok, a 3 or 4 car garage is better but what do you expect with a 2 bedroom town home? Here is the back room off the kitchen before.... And after.... It could technically fit our dining room table and chairs plus our buffet but we liked the idea of being able to have an office/craft area. The office is on one side and my craft table is on the other. You may have noticed the slight (hee hee) change in color to the room and while some of you may not love my color choice, I LOVE my blue kitchen !!! It's actually not as electric blue as this picture makes it look but it's definitely blue. Speaking of kitchen... Here is the kitchen before (please note the horrible burlap wallpaper on the bar area (one of the first things to go).... And after....

I didn't get a before picture of the laundry area (which is in the kitchen) but it had an ugly acordian door on it that we ripped out. We replaced it with these bifold doors and it makes all the difference. Too bad Jeremy and his dad installed them upside down....and yes, they will be corrected.

The door on the right leads to our connecting bathrooms. The place has a full bath and a half bath but they are both connected by a sliding door. Odd setup but what can you do?

Ok, here is the dining area. Since we used the back room for the office/craft area, we decided to put the dining room table in the living room (which was how it was meant to be by the designers anyway. To save the carpet we got an area rug.

And last but not least, we have the living room which is nice and large and houses all of our furniture very nicely.

Whew! That was a lot of pictures but I promised so now all of you who can't come visit can see why we love our new place so much. It's not ours but it's home;) We recently decorated for Christmas but since I'm tired of posting pictures, you are all out of luck! I should be posting new pictures of the girls as soon as I get them. Our friend Kristie took our pictures at the Fullerton Arboretum two weekends ago and we are looking forward to seeing them.
